Fully Automated High-throughput Nucleic Acid Purification System Using Magnetic Bead Technology
Oasis Fully Automated Mag Bead System
Using this system comprising of an Oasis LM 1200 Magnetic Bead Purification System, with a 96 head and a gripper tool, up to 5760 samples (60 x 96-well plates) can be purified in less than 16 hours during a single unattended run. The system can also be configured to perform sequencing reaction setup for all 60 plates following template purification, extending total run times to < 24 hours. Final sequencing reactions are prepared in 384- well microplates.
The Oasis precisely dispenses low volumes of DNA template and then combines the primer for the PCR protocols. This low volume dispensing permits the scale reduction of the reagents while maintaining kinetics and performance.

Oasis Fully Automated SPE Vacuum System
Using this system comprising of an Oasis Liquid Handler with a 96 head, a gripper tool and a vacuum manifold. The compact and flexible Oasis SPE Vacuum System is a fully integrated system to carry out solid phase extraction (SPE). The fully automated system works with 96 well format SPE separation plates that may take the place of the standard manual syringe type SPE formats.
- Prepare the SPE matrix with a reagent
- Add sample with contamination free disposable tips
- Vacuum sample through matrix where excess liquid is drained to a waste container
- Move matrix plate over a clean vacuum position with a clean collection plate
- Add elution buffer
- Vacuum purified sample into collection plate
This application is configured on the Oasis LM 1200 SPE System and the Oasis LM 600 SPE System, the larger 1200 Series having more capacity and walk away time. In addition, both Oasis SPE platforms have covers and offer the ability to be truncated into a standard lab ventilation system to save on valuable hood space.
