Warp1 Servo Controller
The Warp1 Servo System is a state-of-the-art motion control package that was designed primarily for the OEM instrument developer with reliability, modularity and flexibility in mind. The integrated package provides full & flexible control of both rotary and linear brushless motors for any motion control application. The system also includes extensive I/O capabilities for the control of options & peripherals to further advance application versatility. The adaptable system allows almost any front-end communication interface to be used and converted to the full duplex system utilized by the controllers. 15 axes of motion can be networked together on a single front-end interface, at which point a second interface can be utilized to control more axes. The powerful Warp1-Servo system has been implemented into all of the current Dynamic Devices products to provide the consistency and sophisticated features demanded by the laboratory automation market. This standardization greatly improves our capability to provide product reliability and effective end user service & support.
Features:
- Fully integrated 700 watt brushless servo controller and driver in a compact package measuring 150 x 50 x 100mm.
- Can be used to control both rotary and linear brushless motors with or without hall effect sensors at a current of 15A rms continuous and 25A rms peak. The controller has a single 24 to 55VDC power input. WARP1-PS is a high performance power supply designed for this controller which provides 48VDC @ 15A, 24VDC @ 10A and 5VDC @ 1A for accessories along with surge and fault protection, remote power control and regenerative braking. - Fault protected, isolated full duplex network interface (RS485) for communications. Fifteen nodes can be networked together. A single front end interface allows any communication bus structure to be converted to the full duplex system used by the controllers. WARP1-COMM converts standard RS232 to RS485 while providing isolation demand. Please refer to the WARP1-COMM specification sheet for more information.
- Single compact shielded connector for motor, encoder, hall, limits and brake connections.
- A single flexible mult-core, multi-shield cable to connect the controller to the motor which greatly simplifies wiring and enhance reliabilty.
