Oasis Internal Robotic Gripper

The Oasis platform has the internal gripper option that gives the system the ability to move anything in a microplate format around the deck and off the platform to other peripheral devices.  The multiple axis and rotary gripper make the internal gripper a perfect tool to:
  • De-stack tips and microplates
  • Remove microplate covers
  • Move empty tip boxes to waste
  • Load readers, washers and incubators to complete ELISA assay
  • Load sealers and thermocyclers for PCR set up
  • Load storage incubators for cell maintenance and cell assay system

As one of the most versatile and high end gripper tools in the liquid handling market, this gripper makes a perfect complement to 96 and or 384 head system giving the ability to longer walk away operation and the ability to completely finish a method from beginning to end.

External Frame Gripper

A great option to expand the capabilities outside the core liquid handling platform is to attach a vertical frame gripper to the back of the system.  The frame gripper aligns to the entire back surface of the liquid handler down to the integration cabinet, giving it the ability to place and remove plates for use outside the liquid handlers working envelope.  This frame gripper acts as a vertical robotic arm, as opposed to a table top robot on a rail, that has the advantage of accessing underneath, in back and to the side of the liquid handling platform while alignment is kept static being bolted to the integration cabinet and liquid handler.

As with any major integration that requires the transport of samples and plates over long distances to access larger peripherals and on line storage devices, an industrial 6 axis robot operating in a cylindrical envelop or attached to a 3 meter linear rail system is still the best solution.  Given Dynamic Devices' decade and a half long experience with these type of systems, solutions based complete systems are delivered with the highest success rate in the industry.

TRx Quick Deck Conveyor Microplate Transport System

The Quick Deck is a powerful application tool for the transport of samples / disposables between liquid handling instruments and robotic peripherals with unparalleled speed and reliability serving as the transport link between any combination of assay tasks.  As a modular conveyor based transportation system, it provides the efficient movement of samples / disposables onto, across, or between liquid handling instruments and in any combination with countless other functions such as incubation, plate lidding, reagent dispensing, and magnetic bead separation. Combined with the Dynamic Devices TRx Tray Transport System, the Quick Deck is an effective tool in both batch and random access applications such as plate reformatting or cherry picking.

Gripper Tool - 96 Head Based

For a simple gripping tool the 96 head is outfitted with fingers to move microplates around the deck. This gripper can pick up plates from stacks and move them to loading locations.  The fingers cannot rotate or reach off deck.  If this is needed, the standard internal gripper is required.
